Sardar Sunder Singh Mann a Landlord
of Village Mannawala (Now in Pakistan) had 3 Sons Sardar Sahib Singh Mann,
Sardar Kehar Singh Mann and Sardar Labh Singh Mann.
Sardar Sahib Singh Mann after
getting the basic education he helped his father in managing the family farm at
Mannawala. He had 3 Sons Namely Sardar Tirlok Singh being the eldest and two
younger sons Sardar Gurdip Singh and Sardar Amarjit Singh was the youngest.
Sardar Sahib Singh Mann was nominated Member of Punjab Legislative Council on
31st March 1952.
Sardar Kehar Singh Mann studied
B.Sc. LLB from Lahore and he became a PCS officer. He was posted as Magistrate
in Shimla.
Sardar Labh Singh Mann joined
revenue department and was a Tehsildar in Punjab.
They all worked for humanity and
served the Public as they should have in the best manner, very Kind and
pro-people, fought against wrong and evil helped the Poor and Needy.

I had to look up my ancestry for land dispute by distant relative & did 6 generations of Maans and 120 ancestors around the globe.
I didnt stop there a found out why Maans are jn a Shergill village In Jalandhar.
I didnt stop there, i found Maan is first name of 3 brothers (Others Hayre & Bullar) as known as Asi Jatts more than 2000 ago, that formed their own clans.
I also recorded our Central asian migrations ( Sintashta, Yamnaya) , and even more very ancient origins north Altai mountains Siberia.

Dear Biba Aman Mann, I came across your Blog "Mann of Manawala" while searching for information about my 'parents and grand parents' village Hardaiv District Sheikhupura and about Sardar Sundar Singh Mann of Manawala. I am the grandson of Sardar Boor Singh Virk of Hardaiv District Sheikhupura (Now in Pakistan), who was the Maternal Uncle of Sardar Kehar Singh Mann and Sardar Sahib Singh Mann. I had been settled in Dehradun where I retired as a Principal of an Inter College and have now moved to Canada, where both of my daughters are settled. My parents used to often share stories and anecdotes about the Mann family as they're very close. It's truly heart warming to see Mann family's heritage preserved with such care.
